I’M SCARED OF CROWS                                       1st Vol ,No1 Dec2013

Pigeons did seem more familiar to me
for all my life
and still they have changed
since the time I was a boy
and threw them corn for food
they are more invading
a war of beggars if you like
today the part of the lion
belongs to the seagulls
a new generation of postulants
greatly more aggressive
they don’t care about problems
of territory control
nor of alimentary chain
many pigeons already made the acquaintance
of their unceremonious beaks.
Some time ago on the pier
I was looking at
dark, improbable,
greedy, sturdy crows.
I’m thinking of new
not yet conceived
migrations of men
and I ask myself
if this is a natural model
or a poetical metaphor.
